SUMMER FUN

It has been an eventful summer for us so far... we have fed buffaloe, been to the Indiana Dunes, celebrated Hannah's 6th birthday, vacationed in Maryland with Grandma & Grandpa Rummage, hiked with cousins in Virginia, road horses & ponies, learned to ride without training wheels (yeah Hannah!), drove a go-kart for the first time (yeah Josh!), climbed climbing walls, played putt-putt, taken swimming lessons, jumped bike ramps, gone to zoos, visisted national monuments, went to Indiana Beach with Grandma Lois (Josh road his first roller coaster), had sleep overs with friends & also at Grandpa Jon and Grandma Sandy's. Oh yeah, Derek turned 33 too!

SCHOOL SPIRIT

This is one of my favorite pics from college... During my Junior year at IWU we started this tradition where we would paint our faces (like Braveheart) & wear the away soccer jerseys for the Homecoming game. We did a better job of getting the crowd all fired up than the cheerleaders did. That's me on the left & Jason Makowsky on the right.

GOT CHICKEN?

I think this picture was taken back in the spring of 1994. Dave Drury (on the left) & I had gone to visit a friend in the hospital who was in the burn unit. We had to wear rubber gloves while we visited him. We posed for this photo-op afterwards.

TIME FLIES...

JOSH'S TAXI SERVICE

This evening I asked Joshua to go down to the neighbor's house & tell Hannah it was time to come home. I didn't expect him to give her a lift. Whata sweet brother!

COUSINS

My brother-in-law & his family spent a night at the Hotel Bethay on their way back to Virginia from Colorado. Josh and Hannah love to spend time with their cousins!
